Our summer events were SUPER fun this year and we want to thank Haymaker and the fine folks behind the annual Elisabet Ney Day event for their continued support. Community events like these help Chula League get the word out about our programs and they are a lot of fun. Anyone who eats 15 habanero-pickled eggs is having fun – right? Right! ** Cherrywood art Fair is Hiring!

It takes a lot of dedicated people to run an art show and we’re so thankful to all of our past staff, volunteers and supporters for helping us over the past 13 years. It definitely takes a village and we’re looking for talented event folks who love artists, kids and want to create a little magic at our 14th annual event in December. ARTIST APPLICATIONS UPDATE

We love, love, love our Cherrywood Art Fair artists and hope to see many familiar and new faces again this year! Remember, the CAF application is an online, juried process so start thinking about your best product shots now and skip the stress at deadline time! Need tips for your photos? Check out helpful info here (http://www.cherrywoodartfair.org/faqs/app-photos) . Key dates & application fees:
* Tuesday, August 11: Artist application period opens
* Tuesday, September 8: Artist application due date
* Tuesday, September 15: Late Deadline app closes (late fees will apply)
Application fees: $25.00 thru September 8 or $40.00 from September 9 –15.
