Learn more about the advantages of converting your food scraps, pizza boxes, yard trimmings and other compostable items into community resources from representatives of the City’s Curbside Composting Collection program, which recently expanded into 38,000 Austin households. The program is part of the City’s Zero Waste goal to divert 90 percent of materials from landfills by 2040. Come see how fun it is to play games and win prizes at the composting booth at the Cherrywood Art Fair! |
