Cherry-picked tunes on the Austin Chronicle Music Stage
The Austin Chronicle (http://www.austinchronicle.com/) , Adrian Quesada and music coordinator Donald Miller are bringing you a purrfect blend of new talent, old favorites, and groups dedicated to the idea of bringing up the next generation.
* Rattletree School of Marimba (https://learnmarimba.com) will give kids a fantastic opportunity to play African marimbas—think giant wooden xylophones! Never played? No problem, they will have you playing in 5 minutes! To sign up for the free workshop, interested participants must pre-register. Space is limited to 20 folks so sign up today (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BN78HPR) ! Want more? Stick around to see the SeVana Marimba (http://www.sevanamarimba.com) group share their love and joy for the marimba sound.
* On Sunday, School of Rock’s (http://austin.schoolofrock.com) B-team will show us how it’s done! SOR will also stick around in the community area to talk about how you can become a shredder, drummer or singer!
