We are thrilled to be participating in Amplify Austin 2015, a 24-hour day of community-wide giving. This is our first year and we are super excited! Please help us expand our free Little Artist BIG ARTIST mentoring program to give even more kids the opportunity to collaborate one-on-one with professional artists and experience the creative process from ideation to commercialization with the auctioning of their artwork at the Cherrywood Art Fair. In order to grow LaBA and reach more under-served East Austin schools, we need funding. Please donate to Chula League starting at 6pm TODAY and make more art mentorships possible. Just follow these easy steps:

The 2015 LaBA program is off to a strong start thanks to our amazingly talented BIG ARTISTS, art teachers, young artists and most importantly, to Jennifer Ramos, our LaBA Program Coordinator. The artists are already hard at work creating pieces that will be displayed at the Spring Art Show. Save the date: the opening reception will be held April 23 at Imagine Art @ ReNEW East Arts Complex, 2830 Real St.

We were blessed with great weather, amazing artists, sponsors, musicians and food vendors who simply ROCKED It! We want to remind everyone to support our artists and community & family fun partners throughout the year. We’re already planning the 2015 Art Fair – look for artist applications to open in July.
